In this case you can see some of our printing that is on display at the Walker Art Center.
The book standing up with a bride on the cover is one and the book that is second form the left, it has a man in the corner.
These are Commercial Articles designed by Comercial Artisan.

Advertising
This is what traffic looks like in front of the shop in the morning.
We had to let more people know where we are what what we do.
So I came up with this idea.
Have someone stand outside and tell them.
•••••••••••••
Now we weren't going to hire a sign spinner to dance in front of the shop like a gold store or pizza place though.
I wanted our "Service man" to do it for us.
•••••••••••••
First I Photoshoped some of my ideas together to pitch the idea to the bosses.
This got the green light!
So for the next 2 month I dug around in our storage areas and found some scrap plywood.
I then drew my designs on them and painted them between other jobs.
5 minutes here, 10 minutes there and before I knew it I had one done.
I printed out a big QR that when scanned takes you to our website and covered it in plastic.
This way I can change the message whenever I want to.
Today was the first day for my second sign to be outside.
This sign has a message on both sides.
We are on a one way street but I can flip him around to advertise the different services we offer.
I plan on making one more sign.
I want three signs so I can rotate them.
I know that once something is outside it doesn't take but one or two weeks before it becomes normal background and ignored.
With three signs and varying the messages I hope to always catch the passersby eye.
Herron Tour 2011
The class from Herron school of art was so big this year we gave the tour twice to two different groups.
Tommy C. running a plate through the plate processor.
Checking out the bindery.
Group 2 watching more plates being made.
The group crowded around the letter presses.
Watching the four color and the 38.

Christmas Diner
Indianapolis Museum of Art
We printed a piece for Indianapolis Museum of Art's Andy Warhol exhibit.
We printed a "Take away" piece for them.
It was a series of posters that patrons could tear off and take home with them.
Looks like everyone who visited grabbed one.
